Awww, great birth story! I too tested positive for GBS for both of my pregnancies. With my unexpected homebirth I never got the chance to have antibiotics and all was well with my daughter and I. With my second (planned homebirth) I tested positive but used natural remedies during the last 3 months of my pregnancy and also a flush at the onset of labor (once my water broke). My son and I were both fine once again. I do know my midwives didn't want me on labor for longer than 12 hours if my water had broke or I would of had to of transferred. I was blessed with both births being fast and easy.
